As the years go by, I’m becoming more aware of the wear and tear my physical body has been subjected to. With the strength and stamina diminishing, I can feel my body’s circulation becoming slower, and when sometimes it does not flow so smoothly, it will result in pain. Where there is blockage, that area would feel numb or worse, extreme pain.
Back in my younger years, there was a certain degree of “reckless” living as the vitality of youth seemed to fool the mind that it would last forever. Hence, the idea of having a balanced healthy diet, avoiding toxic materials, getting enough rest to conserve energy for stressful situations, was furthest from my mind. Whatever steps I took to be healthy back then was more for vanity and pain prevention rather than to replenish this God-given vehicle we call the physical body.
My consciousness starts to shift as I become aware of the body’s need for love and respect in return for all the hard work it has done non-stop, 24/7 so that I can live. For this, I must thank Source, and the Academy for the teachings transmitted. (*)
I learn that my physical body houses my emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. So, besides my diet, my lifestyle, my thoughts, emotions, and beliefs have an impact on my physical as well. Negative thoughts and emotions will acidify the body, just like an imbalanced diet, stress, dehydration, sleep deprivation, and highly radioactive environment, too. When the body remains acidic over a long period of time, all forms of disease appear.
Living in the city, there’s a myriad of challenges to manoeuvre. The atmosphere alone is constantly charged with stress, tension, and hyperactivity. Generally, city folks have difficulty relaxing. Our ‘fight or flight’ mode is turned on for too long during the day, externalising our limited energy resource. It’s not a surprise many are deprived of sleep and rest. Our body ends up struggling to self-repair.
Through the CLT system, I am learning to connect to my physical body and to be more aware of how it reacts to both internal and external stimulus. Like when I start worrying, my solar area would clench and become a tight knot. From experience, this would lead to indigestion, bloating. If I do not deal with the source of the worry, it would lead to anxiety, giving way to gastric pain.
And so, my body is teaching me through discomfort and pain by directing my focus to the source of contamination. As I discover my weaknesses and learn to resolve them through the System, I come to understand that everyone is different in their genetic makeup. This helps me to disengage from the old conditioning that only medical specialists and doctors know our health better than we do ourselves.
Because of this conditioning, many believe that only those who are considered as qualified medical practitioners, have the authority to make decisions concerning our body’s health. We end up passing the sovereignty of our bodies over to them, giving them the power to come up with “one size fits all” solutions to our different health issues.
But the truth is who can better understand our health better than ourselves? Everyone lives differently in terms of lifestyles, diet, upbringing, environment, and culture. The problem is we have disconnected ourselves from our body’s needs. We have lost the connectivity we once had with ourselves. We have been made to believe we are unable to fathom our body’s needs, and that the way to live well is to look to others for solutions that can make the discomfort go away. This conditioning has caused many to live out their lives in pain, not just physically, but in their higher bodies as well.
Ultimately, it’s about making choices. We must decide on the kind of trajectory we want for our lives. Our time on earth is finite, and not very long (if we were to look at the lifespan our forefathers had a very long time ago), for us to fulfil our purpose of evolving our consciousness and to learn our spiritual lessons. Whatever pain or discomfort we experience in our physical body is meant to point us towards a more balanced way of living with Love, Truth, and Selflessness.
As we steer ourselves towards learning to embody and express the higher Principles (Love, Truth, Selflessness), we will gradually rebuild our connectivity with our four bodies, and free ourselves from this world’s conditioning that does not contribute to our spiritual evolution, and we can return to our true nature of Light.
